North-East India Birding Tour

Duration: 14 Nights / 15 Days
Destination Covered: North-east and Sunderbans National Park

Day 01 : Fly from Delhi to Kol.3 hours drive to Sonakhali Jetty.2.5 hours cruise to Sunderbans Jungle Camp(our own).Acclimatize,briefing.Overnight halt.

Day 02 : Fullday birding in the creeks,canals and from watch towers.Overnight at Sunderbans Jungle Camp.

Day 03 : Morning birding cruise in the narrow creeks by manually oared boat follwed by fullday birding in the sanctuary.Overnight at Sunderbans Jungle Camp.

Day 04 : Early morning departure for Kolkata.Fly off to Dibrugarh.5/6 hours drive to Namdapha.Overnight at Deban Forest Rest House or Camp Namdapha.

Day 05 : Fullday birding at Namdapha.Overnight at Deban/Camp Namdapha.

Day 06 : Birding trek to Haldibari(5 kms).Overnight camping.

Day 07 : Birding trek to Hornbill(6 kms).Overnight camping

Day 08 : Birding trek to Bulbulia(2.5 kms).Overnight camping at Hornbill

Day 09 : Trek back to Haldibari.Overnight camping.

Day 10 : Back to Namdapha.Overnight at Deban FRH or Camp Namdapha.

Day 11 : Proceed to Digboi(3/4 hours).Halfday birding in Digboi forest.Overnight at OIL guest house.

Day 12 : Fullday birding at Digboi forest.Overnight at OIL guest house.

Day 13 : Drive to Nameri.Overnight at Eco Camp.

Day 14 : Fullday birding at Nameri.Overnight at Eco Camp.

Day 15 : Transfer to Dibrugarh/Guwahati.Fly out for Delhi.
